that baseline is also fine with a bump to using -std:c++23
earlier code changes (pre 26-2 branch off) already affected building
on macOS 13/Xcode 14 and since there have been no reports regarding
not being able to build, it is safe to assume that no LibreOffice
developer will be affected/the documentation bump comes loooong
after-the-fact.
End-Users are not affected, the minimum required version to run

the update to nss 3.128 put the -DHAVE_PLATFORM_GHASH define behind a
check for the variable LITTLE_ENDIAN, but the makefile based system only
had a check for that added to the coreconf/Linux.mk file instead of e.g.
the UNIX.mk one that would also be included in the macOS makefile
(Darwin.mk)
So as a workaround specify it on the commandline - our configure already
tests for it, so we don't need a dedicated compile check or patch to the
nss bits.

Also remove the empty <value/> tag, while that one doesn't cause parse

d84c0d493b changed how the langauge list
is handled, before it just cached the English names and used those even
after the UI langauge was changed, after the change it will recreate the
list and use the localized names.
That broke the checks, so forcing the language to en-US is a workaround,
but it doesn't seem like the proper fix esp. for the second instance:
* open a french document, so content is in French, using janvier as
expected.
* script sets language to Spanish, that works since at that point LO's
UI is English still, recalculating with that returns ene / enero
* script then tries to set the language to English but fails, document
stays in Spanish and still returns ene
the language selection depends on the available languages, so setting
the language to Enlish before trying to set a different language seems
like an unnecessary hack/surely there's a way to set the document
language without depending on localized names.

since b8e6595d47 the UCRTSDKDIR was
converted to the native (windows-style) path in the test block already
while previously it was converted as part of the post-AC_CONFIG_FILES
script that mass-converts paths when creating config_host.mk
With the conversion to unix path in wsl < 2.4.5 dropping the trailing
slash from the path, configure then fails with "Could not figure out
what C++ library this is" since it just appends the include path
assuming the trailing slash to be present, resulting in
-IC:/PROGRA~2/WI3CF2~1/10Include/10.0.26100.0/ucrt
^ missing path delimiter here
ultimately failing to include necessary headers and thus failing the
check.
So explicitly check whether the unix-path (that preserves the slash) has
a trailing slash and if so make sure it is also added to the native path
if necessary.

the existing one already handles both cases, and the difference only
mattered for wsl where the configure step is run in a different
environment (the wsl distro container) than the build, so configure
needs to see the paths as seen from within wsl vs the build then needs
to have windows paths.
For cygwin the configure and build env are the same, so if configure
step can see it, then also the build (and vice versa) - however
AC_PATH_PROGS still only treats a path starting with / as valid, so also
change the $formatted_path_unix to unix-style for cygwin.

wsl-as-helper case uses a post-script for AC_CONFIG_FILES for
config_host.mk to replace wsl-style paths in the form of
/mnt/<driveletter>/ to <driveletter>:/ for use by the build in the
windows-realm.
For variables that are used in the other generated files, the paths
needs to be converted explicitly/manually
this change partially undoes 9add004456
There's no need for a TARFILE_LOCATION_NATIVE / the build already uses
the native form, it was just another case of the replacement only being
done for the config_host.mk, not in the generated scripts.
(since configure runs in the linux realm, it needs the unix-style paths
as seen from within wsl, the actual build is then run in the windows
realm and uses windows paths (in mixed-form, i.e. forward slashes))

while the ini files that are put into instdir are created by
instsetoo_native/CustomTarget_setup.mk and work just fine in
wsl-as-helper build environment, the files for installation sets are
actually created by scp2 and the perl installer code.
It fails to get the git hash/the command exits with error, so instead of
doing a separate cd command with fancy redirections use git directly
with the path argument.

meson always queries for the -latest -prerelease version of Visual
Studio using vswhere, ignoring the selection done in configure. This
then clashes when trying to build with an older version of the compiler.
That's an obvious hack that only works with the provided version of
meson and a better fix would be to make that a meson commandline option
or allow passing it via the ENV/have it guess from CC/CXX or similar.

regression from aba5f80169
nss' Darwin.mk uses uname -p to decide on the platform if CPU_ARCH is
not set, and that still returns i386 on intel macs – in the old
version that still worked since there was an additional ifdef USE_64
check that then set it to x86_64, but that has since been removed and
only the custom guards to not add additional -arch parameter to the
compiler flags remain, resulting in the built to attempt a 32bit and
that then fails when it comes to the assembly instructions:
mpi/mpi_sse2.s:35:5: error: instruction requires: Not 64-bit mode
push %ebp
^
mpi/mpi_sse2.s:37:5: error: instruction requires: Not 64-bit mode
push %edi
^
mpi/mpi_sse2.s:38:5: error: instruction requires: Not 64-bit mode
push %esi
^
[…]
So don't rely on auto-detection and specify it explicitly as it was done
for the other variants already, ironically also already for building for
intel on arm. But the additional check whether it is building on arm is
not necessary, our CPUNAME is sufficient already and that now
superfluous bit can be removed.
