ODF round-trip: assert the series carries a categories sequence with the expected bin range labels after reload. Without the late histogram template re-application, that sequence is missing. XLSX round-trip: assert the X axis Categories hold the bin range labels. Without the axis converter preserving them, they get replaced with generic "1", "2", ... labels. Add testHistogramODSToXLSXExport: the exported chartEx1.xml must carry a real cell range in the numDim formula, not an _xlchart.v1.N alias with no matching definedName in workbook.xml.
