commit b14583ba37 initially added the
parquet filter with saying
Note that this change makes it possible to load Apache Parquet files
if and only if orcus has been built with the parquet import filter
enabled. Using orcus without the parquet import filter enabled will
not break the build or run-time behavior; you just can't load parquet
files.
This is bad since silently failing like this doesn't tell people what
the problem is. Not having the option at all is clearer and more deterministic.
And the internal liborcus in a "standard" LibreOffice build didn't build with parquet
enabled at all anyway, thus leaving LibreOffice offering the option without even able to
load the files.
This patch adds
a) an explicit --with-parquet-filter configure flag on which the config
is built or not
b) based on that flag also gives --with-parquet-filter to liborcus'
configure. (which then of course will make that liborcus linked
against libparquet. But if people explicitely specify it..)
c) fixes the build of liborcus against arrow 23 (see
https://gitlab.com/orcus/orcus/-/commit/bae0e6e659cf4df2590288f566004eef7096dee4 -
that incidentially also fixed the liborcus build against 22 for me
This is a generalized version of a local patch I carry in Debian - which
I added some time after I made liborcus in Debian *do*
--with-parquet-filter :)

This includes one bug fix where orcus_xml did not call
import_factory's finalize() interface method per interface
contract. With it properly fixed in liborcus itself, it
is no longer necessary to manually call it at the end of
ScOrcusXMLContextImpl::importXML().
Also moving up the type detection order for the generic
HTML type to be before the generic XML type since something
like
<html><body>some text</body></html>
can be detected as a valid XML if it is checked first.
A (well-formed) HTML can be considered a speciazlied XML,
so it should come before XML.

also does not perform any nice format related post processing at all.
Obviously this is very limiting feature-wise compared to the default CSV
filter, but it generally loads faster & may prove to be useful when you
need to open a very large CSV file.
To use this filter, you need to manually select 'Text CSV (orcus)'

Since writing WebP to e.g. ODT documents would make those images

Next step is to put more logic into the decision
if Draw or Impress should be loaded - if we have a
self-exported Impress, import as Impress, else
(including all not-self-created SVG Graphics) import
to Draw.
To do this it is necessary to be able to import to
different document formats at all. To do this, add
an internal filter type to the filter mechanism
(types/registration/...) and decide in the SVG
XExtendedFilterDetection::detect from SVGFilter
which one to use.
Added tooling for SVG detection and more, see
SVGFileInfo. This allows to detect for SVG, but
also if the creator was LO and if it was Draw or
Impress. The document format/filter is choosen
accordingly.
Corrected the error with <g visibility="hidden">
Slides inisde <g class="SlideGroup"> for import
of self-exported Impress documents. No idea why
this was written that way, but needs to be fixed
to get a visible content at all.
Also adapted the final mapping from pt to 100thmm
in SvgSvgNode::decomposeSvgNode. Unfortunately
(and also for unknown reasons) the self-exported
Impress does not write svg:width/height values,
thus the adaption from assumed svg-units (px) to
100thmm has to be skipped.
Have identified the place in svgio where I can
embed Pages/Slides to a helper-Primitive to later
be able to 'break' such GraphicObjects to multiple
Pages/Slides. I have added a Primitive called
PageHierarchyPrimitive2D for this purpose.

Lots of BIFF2-BIFF5 files out there don't have CODEPAGE
record at all, or have one with a wrong value, and/or
FONT records with wrong charset value.
To solve that, this patch adds a new "Choose Encoding"
entry to the file picker, so that users could specify the
encoding to use for a given file, instead of relying on
the information that might be present (or not) inside the
file. It can be also used in headless mode,
e.g. --infilter="MS Excel (encoded)":61
This doesn't affect BIFF8 import, nor the default behavior
when not explicitly using the "Choose Encoding" entry.
